To Create Destruction Disposition Instructions

Multiple definitions can be created.

  1. Open the System Admin tab (View > System Administration).
  2. Click the File Plans icon .
  3. In the System Admin tab select the root File Plans item.

    The File Plans form opens in the content pane.

  4. Find the Destruction Disposition Definitions topic and click New.

    The New Disposition Instruction form opens.

  5. Enter a name and optional description for the destruction instruction.
  6. Click Open Query Designer.

    The Eql Designer window opens for you to define which conditions must be met for a document to be ready for a disposition action order. This window is similar to the Report Designer window. See the AssetWise Director help for more information about using Report Designer, and see the AssetWise Query Language help for details about eQL.

  7. Define the search query as needed and click OK.
  8. Click the Add icon to create the disposition definition.
